Product Care

Care Guide

Every single one of our pieces is handcrafted using natural materials that require special, tender care. Proper care helps keep your favorite clothing and accessories looking brand new, preserving their original condition, shape, and beauty for a very long time.

Knitwear

Knitwear requires special care. Knitted products can face pilling (spools) and deformation problems. This is a natural characteristic of natural fibers, but following these steps will keep them to an absolute minimum.
  • Temperature: We highly recommend that you hand-wash your knitwear at a temperature of no more than 30 degrees.
  • Soaking: Submerge the garment in the water and let it soak for about 5 minutes.
  • Gentle Cleansing: Use warm water and mix it with some mild liquid soap or special wool washing fluids. Carefully rinse the garment. Do not rub.
  • No Twisting: When you’re done with rinsing, gently squeeze as much water as you can from the garment. Remember to never twist or wring it. This can cause a loss of elasticity and strength of the knit.
  • Towel Drying: Wrap the garment in a clean, dry towel. Gently squeeze the towel to absorb excess moisture. Unwrap, lay it flat on a new dry towel, and let it air dry in a cool place.
  • Never Tumble Dry: Never put a fine handmade garment into a dryer/tumble dryer. Knitwear loses its shape and may shrink drastically in size at too high a temperature.
  • Proper Storage: Do not hang garments on a hanger immediately after washing or for storage! If you hang them, they will lose their elasticity and strength under their own weight. Store them neatly folded on a shelf.

Swimwear
Our handcrafted swimwear is made for the ultimate beach aesthetic, but exposure to harsh elements (chlorine, salt, and sun) means it needs immediate post-wear attention.
  • Rinse Immediately: Always rinse your swimwear in cool, fresh water right after leaving the pool or the ocean to flush out salt and chemicals.
  • Delicate Wash: Hand-wash in lukewarm water with a drop of mild liquid soap. Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, or stain removers.
  • Flat Drying: Lay your swimwear flat to air-dry in a shaded area. Keep it away from direct sunlight to prevent colors and delicate fibers from fading or weakening.
Handcrafted Jewelry
Natural stones, wood, pearls, and shells are extremely sensitive to moisture, friction, and cosmetics.
  • The Final Touch: Put your jewelry on as the very last step of your routine—well after applying body creams, perfumes, or hairsprays.
  • Stay Dry: Always remove your pieces before swimming, showering, or entering a sauna. Water and damp environments can damage the natural base and alter colors.
  • Separate Storage: Store each piece of jewelry individually in its own soft microfiber pouch or a lined jewelry box to prevent scratching.
